Every Knotwild hat is crocheted to fit a range of head sizes, with natural stretch in the yarn. Measure once and you'll know exactly which size to pick — perfect when you're buying a gift, too.
How to measure your head
- Take a soft tape measure (or a piece of string and a ruler).
- Wrap it around the widest part of the head — about 1 cm (½ in) above the eyebrows and just above the ears.
- Keep it snug but not tight, and note the measurement in cm or inches.

Tips
- Between two sizes? Choose the larger one — the yarn has gentle stretch, and hoods and earflap hats are designed to sit comfortably.
- Buying a gift? Most adults fit our Adult size. If you're unsure, Adult is the safest choice.
- Each listing shows the sizes it comes in. One-size styles are made in our Adult size unless the listing says otherwise.
- Need a different size? Every piece is made to order, so we can often adjust. Email hello@knotwild.com before ordering and we'll help you choose.
