Are your pieces really handmade?
Yes — every single one. Each Knotwild piece is hand-crocheted to order by skilled makers, one stitch at a time. There's no warehouse of finished stock — each piece is made after you order. That's also why small, natural variations in stitch, colour and shape are part of the charm — no two are exactly alike.
How long until my order ships?
Because each piece is made just for you, please allow 7–10 business days for your piece to be hand-crocheted before it ships. You'll get a tracking number by email the moment it's on its way.
How long does delivery take?
After shipping, estimated delivery is 7–12 business days within the United States (most orders arrive in about 8 days) and 12–25 business days for the rest of the world. These are estimates and can vary with your local postal service.
How much is shipping?
Standard shipping is free on every US order. Need it faster? Express shipping within the US is $15. For international orders, shipping is calculated at checkout based on your country and carrier (USPS or DHL Express). Any customs duties or import taxes are paid by the buyer.
Can I choose my own colours?
On many pieces, yes! If a product page shows a “Custom colour” option, pick it and leave your colour wishes in the order notes at checkout. If you have a very specific palette in mind, email us first and we'll help.
How do I pick the right size?
Each product page lists sizing by head circumference (for example, Adult 54–60cm, Kids 48–54cm). Measure around the widest part of the head, just above the ears, and choose the closest match. Prefer a made-to-measure fit? Choose “Custom size” and pop your measurement in the notes. See our size guide for the full chart.
How do I care for my crochet piece?
Hand wash gently in cool water with mild soap, gently press out excess water (don't wring), reshape and lay flat to dry away from direct heat and sun. Treated kindly, your piece will stay soft and lovely for years.
What's your return policy?
If your order arrives damaged, defective or wrong, email hello@knotwild.com within 14 days and we'll arrange a free replacement or refund. Because pieces are handmade to order, we're unable to accept returns for change of mind or the natural small variations of handmade work. Full details on our Refund Policy page.
